Welcome to Sawston And Babraham Cricket Club

We believe in cricket for the community- our ethos stems for openness and inclusivity, and we pride ourselves on giving opportunity to all. Sawston and Babraham is an amalgamation of two of the most historic clubs in the Cambridge area- and is always looking for new members. Whatever ability, young or old.

2nd and 3rd XI in  CCA Junior 1 and 4 respectively

4 XI in CCA Minor League.

A Wednesday t20 side in the Adams Harrison midweek division 2

We will also have friendly fixtures on Sundays throughout the season.

If you would like to get involved, please come along to our training sessions-

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6pm-7.30pm, Spicers Sports field, Sawston

The club has an active junior section and will be running teams from under 11 through to under 15. We are always looking for new junior players, so if you have a son or daughter that may be interested, or fancy playing yourself come along to our junior training sessions-

Every Friday 6.00pm to 7.30pm, Spicers Sports Field, Sawston (from 5th May to 14th July).

This season we will also be taking part in the ECB's All Stars Cricket Programme, which will give a fun introduction to cricket for 5 to 8 year olds. These seasons will start on Friday 19th May 2017 at the ground. The sessions will run from 6.00 to 7.00 pm. The cost is £40 payable to the ECB. In addition to the coaching your child will receive a shirt, bag and bat. Full details can be found at d at

Full details of our Summer program can be found in our Newsletter (see News tab above).

Along with the cricket the club has a burgeoning social events programme that includes golf days, race nights, poker and much more. For a full list of planned events please visit the community tab at the top of the page.

We are a not for profit organisation that puts all profits back into the club.
